What is TESOL?
The term TESOL stands for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Language. This is one of the various teaching certifications available that is internationally recognized and is commonly required for new and experienced individuals who want to teach English abroad.
What You Don’t Need
For the vast majority of TESOL programs (online or in person) and providers, you will not need any bachelor’s degree, teaching license or credential.
What You Do Need
As long as your english is proficient, at least 18 years of age, have high school/GED (or equivalent), and you have tuition fee for the program, then you should be able to enroll into any TESOL program.
